Activities

Glacier National Park – The main event! One of the most gorgeous places we’ve ever been to. No reservation required, but you do need to purchase a pass to get into the park. More information can be found here.

Flathead Lake
Five minutes from the venue. Somers Beach State Park has nearly half a mile of sandy beach, which makes a good spot for a brisk walk (ideally with a hot coffee in hand to keep warm).

Bigfork Village
Electric Avenue is four blocks of galleries, boutiques and bookstores, just a short drive from Somers.

Food

Ceres Bakery, Kalispell
French-style breads, sweet potato sticky buns, almond croissants and lemon ginger scones.

Pocketstone Café, Bigfork
Breakfast and lunch on Electric Avenue. Get the cinnamon roll!

Huck’s Place, Whitefish
Juice bar and café by day, wine bar by night. Locals rave about the huckleberry French toast.

Somers Bay Cafe, Somers
Housed in the 1905 Somers State Bank, it doubles as a small museum of town history. Hearty breakfasts, steps from the venue.

Herb & Omni, Whitefish
The splurge. James Beard–nominated chef Earl Reynolds, a Whitefish native, cooks inside a restored historic landmark. Make a reservation!

Tupelo Grill, Whitefish
Skyler and Anna visited here in 2018 and had a lovely time! Cozy, cute and delicious food + cocktails.

Drink

Montana Coffee Traders, Columbia Falls
Roasting since 1981, with an espresso bar, house pastries and a gift shop. Easy stop on the way to Glacier.

Spotted Bear Spirits, Whitefish
Every spirit is made with local ingredients, from Flathead grain to huckleberries. Try the salt and pepper martini!

Backslope Brewing, Columbia Falls
A newly revamped Mediterranean-inspired menu paired with house beer, and snowcapped mountain views in winter.

Tamarack Brewing, Lakeside
Closest to the venue. A casual brewpub with high ceilings and housemade ales near Flathead Lake.
